About me

Hi !

Although life has never treated me kind, I always remained a
dreamer and an optimist. I have a cheerful spirit and love to
laugh and fool around and to do all kinds of outdoor activities
and also visit the gym three times a week.
I am an entrepreneur and also received my bachelor in real
estate in the early summer of 2008. I have plans to start a
second company in real estate in the near future.
The things I really love are to express myself creatively
through singing, painting and making poetry and I have
always adored music, all kinds of music.
The reason why I chose to become a member of this site is
to share a piece of myself and also to learn from what others
write and last but not least: to make new friends. I think it is
awesome to meet people from all over the world!

My lady, she calls me



Every day
I visit her,
curious to see
what mood
she is in today.

It does not matter
how I find her,
tranquil or
roaring with passion.
I love all her faces.

She calls me near
and
as I dive into
her salty wetness
I realize
my love for her
grows
day by day.

She embraces me
with all she's got.
Lifts me up
and leaves me
floating
in complete ecstasy.

How I love her....
my lady,
the sea.

Underneath the debris



Underneath the debris
the soft grass perseveres,
refusing to die and
succumb to destruction.

As war rages on and
kills both men and beast,
nature suffers too
and death is omnipresent.

But underneath it all,
faith slumbers and amidst
all the atrocities
new grass grows
and babies are born.

For men can kill
each other,
but will never
wipe out
hope.

My land

It's once fertile ground
now lies bare
Severe storms blew away
the seeds
before they could sprout
Thereafter endless rains
washed them away.

One tiny seed refused
to surrender
to the elements and
transformed into
a beautiful tree with a
firm trunk and big branches.

It no longer needs
my loving care
to stay alive
It knows how
to survive and endure
even the heaviest of storms
and the biggest of floods
because I taught it how.

And as I stand there
admiring my creation
with the afternoon sun
warming my back
I can hear my Maker
call me.

It was not until then
I realized
how much I longed
to return to his green pastures
and walk amidst the flowers
in his garden of paradise.

And as I cross the threshold
I can almost smell the roses.

Mother Earth


Proud mother
and home
to all there is.

Infinite energy
flows through
all that you bring forth.

One day I will
return my body
as a gift of love
to you.

Only a blind man could have failed
to notice the state that I was in.

Every time we met,
my heart would skip a beat
Never imagined our relationship
would end in tears and defeat.

There is so much we have in common
and in my heart I felt so sure
this is the man I have waited for
You made me feel so happy and secure.

But as time went by, we did not grow
closer but drifted further apart
The more I held on to you, the more
you closed the door to your heart.

My other half is what you are to me
to know all this but still having to walk away
Is more than I can bare, because in your arms
is where I belong and where I want to stay.

On the edge of heaven
but forever on the outside looking in
I will turn away from love now,
this game at which I will never win.

Turning eighteen

My dearly beloved son,
today you turned eighteen
It seems like only yesterday
I first lay ed eyes upon your face serene

So many years have come and gone,
most of them you spent in bed
Always nursing you, cried for you
the countless tears that I have shed....

I always believed in you,
defended and encouraged you
Knowing that some day your health
would return and you would pull through

And look what a fine young man
you have turned out to be!
In your final exams and in a few
months off to university!

We proved them wrong, my love
showed them who's boss, now..didn't we?
I always knew you would come out on top
and make me the proudest mum in history
